The current Apple Silicon build has a local development signature. It is not Developer ID signed or notarized and is not a public release. We do not recommend disabling Mac security protections.

Only footage you own or are authorized to edit should be imported. Internet access is needed for title lookup or a cloud analysis provider, if you enable one.
Open an installed LeanCutYour browser may ask to open the app. If nothing happens, check that LeanCut is installed. This page cannot verify an installation.
When your approved build is available
- Verify the published version, checksum and signing status before installing.
- Move LeanCut to Applications and open it once.
- Connect your workspace drive. Existing saved edits remain on that drive.
- Open your project, inspect suggestions, and approve your own cuts before rendering.
No footage is uploaded by the landing page. The Open action only launches the app; it cannot import files, approve edits or start a render.
